Craft Stamper July Challenge Reminder

Hello Friends

Welcome back I am here to remind you about the Craft Stamper Challenge for the month of July. Come and join in the fun and be in with a chance of winning some goodies.  The challenge this month is take a stamp so you can pretty much make anything you want as long as there is stamping involved.

There is a pretty great prize up for grabs it is four stamping plates from Art Journey. Hop on back over to the Craft Stamper Blog for all of the details.

I got out my Paddington Bear Stamp for this card.  How cute is he? I used to watch the cartoon and the animation when I was wee. I also recently saw the Paddington film it was really good. There is something just too cute about a bear in a duffle coat he is hard to resist don't you think?

This is my first time using this stamp. I bought it in Glasgow when I was home a few month's ago. I got mine from Craft World but I am sure you can find them other places. I tried to look them up online but all I could find was a place that sold them here.

I used my water colour paints  to colour him. Then I made some paint splashes to create the rain in the background. I painted wee puddle at his feet to make him look like he is standing in one.

So now it is your turn go and create something and join us in this month's challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.

  2. A Beary wonderful card! It's lovely to see Paddington.
Classic Pooh is my first love, but Paddington is a close second.
My sister followed the Paddinton Trail in London where various decorated Paddington statues were placed in different areas in London. She shared all the photos with me, they were amazing.

Unity & Misti Blog Hop

Hello My lovelies :) Welcome to the Unity and Misti blog hop! I  hope you are enjoying seeing all of the projects so far. I just had my first wee play with the Misti tool the other day. It is a very new to me tool and wow do I LOVE it!! It is awesome! Just for the simplest of things like positioning a stamp.  One time is all you need with the Misti!! I am not one of those crafters that gets my stamped images crisp first time. I usually have wasted a card or two before I end up with a perfect image. This tool totally eliminates all of that.  Here is my very first card that I made with the Misti tool and Unity stamps.  I used a stamp called  Scattered Pieces . I LOVE this stamp and the sentiments that come with it.  I positioned the feather and the sentiment at the same time on the Misti.  I totally love that you can do that too!  It lets you stamp several at once instead of just eye b...

Tag Trio Day 5 GIU

Hello Friends Welcome to my final day as GIU girl. I must say that I have loved every minute of it and I have enjoyed putting all of my projects together for you to see. So I wanted to end my week with some distress tags. I love getting messy with my distress inks and using the embossing resist technique. I chose this lovely flower stamp set called  Insightful Meadows . The sentiments are from another stamp set called  The Simple Things . These were so easy to make I stamped all of the flowers and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I took 3 different colours for each tag and swiped them on to my craft sheet. I spritzed some water and let the tag pick up the inks. I dried them 3 or 4 times in between until I had built up the colours I wanted.  I then stamped out the sentiments on to vellum and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I attached the vellum with glue and glued it at the back of ...

Craft Stamper November Challenge

Hey Friends Welcome to a new  Craft Stamper  challenge for November. Can you believe we are almost at the end of the year already!!  Where did time go?? It has been pretty cold and frosty up here in Scotland for the last few nights.   But I am hanging on to Autumn as long as I can. I took a wee walk around the park and collected some lovely Autumn leaves.  I wanted to incorporate them into my project today.  I put the leaves in some paper and put them inside a heavy book overnight to press them down.  I started off with a white card base and used this sentiment stamp from Unity and repeat stamped all down the side of my card using Potting Soil Archival Ink. Then I went around the edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink.  Next I took my leaves and my paper punches and punched a heart shape out from the yellow leaf and then stuck it to my card with fabric glue.  Then I punched som...
