Bright Blossoms

I was in the mood for making a bright flowery card and wanted to do something a wee bit different. I love this flower stamp so much I use it all the time it reminds me a lot of cherry blossoms. I was going for a funky two tone effect. I sponged half  the card diagonally with rose bud memento ink then stamped the flowers using versamark ink. I heat embossed the flowers with white embossing powder to make them stand out. I stamped the white side of the card using the rose bud ink.  I sprinkled rhinestones around the flowers and the Birthday sentiment in the middle to finish it off :)                                                                   ~ Supplies Used ~ Black Card Base White Card Unity Stamp Company - Angie Girl : Dream with your heart Unity Stamp Company - Happy Birthday Rhinestones Memento Tuxedo Black Memento Rose Bud Versamark Ink White Embossing Powder Thanks for visiting :)

Arianna Girl

I have been wanting to play with my new stamp Arianna Girl since she arrived in the mail the other day. I just love this stamp you can find it here at Unity Stamp Company .  I embossed some white card with a Darice embossing folder called Scroll Flourish corner you can find it here at  Darice then added the image. I coloured her with alcohol markers then sponged the entire card with memento ink leaving a little white around the image. I heat embossed the swirls with white glitter embossing powder. I added lots of glitter glue and rhinestones to make her sparkle :) The purple is really hard to photograph this is the best I could do.  I am adding her to this weeks Friends with Flair over at the Unity blog tomorrow.    Here is another one I made a totally different style :) I paper pieced some of her dress on this one and added a ribbon. The sentiment is a single sentiment from Unity you can find it here :)  Thanks for visiting :)

The Christmas Door

My new Unity stamps arrived yesterday woo hoo :) I was actually waiting on my angel Arianna Girl stamp but she has not yet appeared. So I decided to make something with the other stamps that came. I started off with the  The Most Wonderful Time of the Year stamp set that includes a sleigh I love sleighs :) But I could not get my sleigh coloured the way I wanted. After 4 tries and crumpled paper everywhere I gave up and decided to change direction. So I got one of the single sentiments out that I ordered Sending Christmas Blessings I love that sentiment it is also hard to find so I am glad Unity sells it :) I wanted the sentiment in a circle but my punch was too small so I used a candle to make the circle drew around it cut it out then put the sentiment in the middle. I wanted to make a wreath but I did not have any wreath type things to make it with. So I dug out my hydrangea punch and did the best I could. I used green glitter card to give it some sparkle. I added some red rhin

Happy Friday :) This is my Friends with Flair entry over at the Unity blog. All you need to do is make any project with Unity Stamps and hop over  here and add it to the list  :) This is a very easy card to make. I made a card base from coloured card stock. Stamped the imaged diagonally using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I did the same for the sentiment then added it to white card to create a border. I added some rhinestones to finish it off  :)                                                       ~ Supplies Used ~                                              Recollections Teal Card                     Flower Stamp - Unity Stamp Co Angie girl ~ Dream with you heart                           Thanks- Unity Stamp Co ~ The simple things stamp set                                                White Embossing Powder                                                       VersaMark Ink

I was so thrilled to have won last weeks friends with flair it was a really nice surprise.  Here is my winning tag :) What are the chances I never win at anything then win twice in the same week with 2 of my tags :) Thanks Michelle for suggesting to me to submit last weeks tag as I probably would never have got around to it  :)  This is my friends with flair entry for this week. Come and join in if you have not already it is over here at the unity blog .  I used one of my favourites this week from the Phyllis Harris collection. Your wings exist - This was my first ever Unity stamp I ever bought I just fell in love with this wee girl and all the sentiments that come with her. You can find it over at unity here :)  I stamped and colored her then I found a teeny weeny little flower stamp and stamped her dress with it and coloured the flowers. I am not really sure what I was trying to do with her hair but it turned out ok in the end :)   ~ Supplies used ~  Unity Stamp Compan
