Stay Strong - Visible Image

Hello Friends Welcome back to my blog! Here is a card I made with the lovely  Visible Image  stamps.  I made this really easy watercolour card. I used this stamp that I LOVE called  Stay Strong . I will say it again I love this sentiment. It really just speaks for itself! Have you ever had one of those days, weeks, months, years where you just need to hear this? Well here it is your wee bit of encouragement for the day :)  To make this card I just got some watercolour paper.   I stamped the image with versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I chose two colours from my Peerless Watercolours. I love these watercolours as they are so vibrant.  I picked two of my favourite colours lime green and turquoise.  I started by wetting the paper in the shape of a circle then applied the colours randomly.  Don't worry if the paint goes outside it actually makes is more organic looking. These watercolours

Hello Friends  I am back with a wee reminder for the Craft Stamper Challenge  Challenge.  Anything goes this month!  So make anything you want as long as there is stamping on your project! I made this tag using an embossing folder and swiping my distress inks over the top. Then I stamped my Sentiment that is from Unity Stamp Co - Follow Your Heart on to black card.  Then I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Super simple :)  So hop on over the  Craft Stamper  blog for all the details on this month's challenge. Mandi xox

Unity - Brown Thursday

Hello My Friends  Welcome to to the Unity Brown Thursday HOP!!!! There are so many NEW lovely stamps in this AMAZING sale!!! Here are a couple of my favourites!! This card was made with the Full of Merry Kit and an older Unity stamp called Elf Christmas .  My inspiration was the film ELF :)  I LOVE Buddy!!! My next card is made with the new Phyllis Harris stamp set called A Beauty all of it's Own!  I used just the sentiment from this kit & added some die cut leaves and some white paint splatters.  A quick how to for you if you want to do splatters. Put your card into an empty box or over the sink to do your splatters. It is so much easier to clean up the mess. If I just do it on my desk the splatters go EVERYWHERE! I keep an empty box just for crafty messes :) Water down your paint just a little Load up a paint brush and tap gently on to your card until you are happy with the results. Then I use my heat gun to speed up the dr

I painted my girl stamp with watercolours and stamped her on to watercolour paper.  Then once she was dry I stamped the sentiment right over the top. I used the same sentiment stamp to create the background on the pink card. Then I cut out various circle sizes to build the card. I really like the way it turned out.  Now it is your turn! Come and join in the fun! We have a great stamp set from The Artistic Stamper as our prize this month.  We also have our second winner chosen by the design team.  This winner will get their project published in the  Craft Stamper Magazine .
