Craft Stamper May Challenge

Hello Friends!

I hope everyone is doing ok during this crazy time.

I just wanted to remind you that we are still running the Craft Stamper Challenges.

The May challenge is well underway but you still have time to come and join in.

Here is my card I made for this month's project.

I made this clean and simple floral card with Unity stamps.
I used two different kits to create this card. The jar with the flowers is from the Strength & Wisdom stamp set and the sentiment is from the kit called His Words.
I kept my card really clean and just used my watercolors to colour the flowers and jar then tied a little twine around it to finish it off.

If you have the time come and play along with us this month.
You can use any stamps you wish on your project.

Here is the prize we have on offer this month this fab Eileen Hull die.

All of the details of the challenge can be found on the Craft Stamper Blog.

Hope to see your project there!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy Valentine's Day - Craft Stamper Inspiration

Hello my friends happy Valentine's Day!

I made this stamped jar for my inspiration project for the Craft Stamper Challenge today.

This is my husband's old coffee jar that was heading to the recycling bin.

I always like to save them and make something with them.

I gave it a couple of coats of white chalk paint and let it air dry.

Next I stamped it with memento ink.

The stamp I used is from Unity called Smooches and Stuff by Phyllis Harris.
I just love all of her art work.

I let that completely dry then used my alcohol markers to colour it.

While I was at the craft store I found this nice heart kraft ribbon in the Valentine section.

I tied it around the top to finish.

I love the way it turned out.

I hope you have some time to come and join in this month's challenge with us.

As always we have wonderful prizes up for grabs.

Craft Stamper December Challenge

Hello my friends happy December!
It's time for a new Craft Stamper Challenge yay!
I had to make a Christmas card for my project today since it is December after all.
I used this lovely wee mouse stamp from lovely Tracy Easson.
How cute is he?? He is part of the Clan McTavish collection that I adore.
This one is called The Chieftain.
The sentiment and heart is from another one of her stamp sets
called Meet Me Under The Mistletoe

I used my watercolours to make him come alive.
Then of course since I am Scottish I just had give him some tartan troosers.
I paper pieced them on along with the wee tartan heart in the corner.
I just love him!
Tracy's designs are so unique and lovely to work with.

Now on to the lovely prize up for grabs this month.
These pretty Jane Davenport Watercolour Brights set.
I own these and they are a lovely set of paints.
So get your craft supplies out and make something and join in this months challenge.

Craft Stamper November Challenge

Hey Friends

Welcome to a new Craft Stamper challenge for November.
Can you believe we are almost at the end of the year already!!
Where did time go??

It has been pretty cold and frosty up here in Scotland for the last few nights.
But I am hanging on to Autumn as long as I can.
I took a wee walk around the park and collected some lovely Autumn leaves.
I wanted to incorporate them into my project today.
I put the leaves in some paper and put them inside a heavy book overnight to press them down.

I started off with a white card base and used this sentiment stamp from Unity and repeat stamped all down the side of my card using Potting Soil Archival Ink. Then I went around the edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink.

Next I took my leaves and my paper punches and punched a heart shape out from the yellow leaf and then stuck it to my card with fabric glue.

Then I punched some hearts from the red leaves and put one inside the yellow leaf and a couple in the corner of my card just to add more interest.

I tied a wee bit of twine around the card just to finish it off.

I absolutely love the way it turned out. I love using things in nature to add to my creations.
Leaves make the perfect embellishment too.
You just have to be careful as they can be a little fragile.

Now it is your turn to come and join the fun.

We have as always some fabulous prizes up for grabs.

We have this lovely butterfly stamp from PaperArtsy.

.
All of the challenge details can be found on the Craft Stamper Blog.

I hope you have some time to come and play along.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

September Craft Stamper Challenge

Hello Friends!

Welcome to another Craft Stamper Challenge.

The weather is a wee bit cooler to I went with an Autumn themed card for the challenge this month.

I did go with cooler colours though and not your typical Autumnal colours just to give it a wee twist.

I used a leaf stencil and my distress oxides to create the background.
I went with Weathered Wood and Peacock Feathers for my colours and did a little ombre but you can't quite see the full effect with the sentiment in the middle.
Then I just went over the leaves with a white gelly roll pen.
The sentiment is from Leisa Zgharda called Autumn Leaves.

We have amazing prizes up for offer as always. I love the look of those glitter pens!!

I hope you have time to come and join in this challenge.

Craft Stamper August Challenge

Hello Friends!

Welcome to the brand new August Craft Stamper Challenge.
I made this mixed media tag for my project today.

I was sitting at my desk playing around with a bit of cardboard and it turned into this tag. I love it when you sit with no agenda at all and you make something out of nothing.  I started off by cutting  out a tag shape and then ripped some of the paper off so that you could see the corrugate underneath. Next I took some white paint and just painted some of it then used a dotty stencil on other parts. I then ripped a page out of an old book and stamped the Go Get It Girl stamp on to it and coloured her with my markers. Then I stamped the butterfly and the sentiment in kraft card and glued that down. I ripped up some coordinating paper to layer and bring the whole tag together.  I then added some lace ribbon to finish. I love the way it turned out!!

We have this lovely prize up for grabs this month take a wee look at these Seth Apter stamps.

There is also the chance to get published in the magazine when the design team vote on all of your entries and choose another winner. I hope you have some time to come and join in this month. Remember you can use any stamps at all in your project.

Craft Stamper July Inspiration

Hello Friends

I am here with a wee reminder for this month's Craft Stamper Challenge.

Here is my project for this month.

A card I made with the freebie stamp from this month's issue of the Craft Stamper Magazine.

This cute wee house reminds me of those beach huts on the beach that are painted all different colours. So I went with that theme.

I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to colour those wee houses.
Then added it to a light blue card base.
To finish I just used a white gel pen to make a squiggle border to add more interest.

I hope you have some time to come and join in this month's challenge.

There are some fab prizes up for grabs as always.

The sentiment is from a Unity kit called Resides in Hope. I heat embossed that with white embossing powder. I then went around the edge with a white ink pad and splattered some white paint just to add some more interest.

I used a stamp set from Unity designed by Graciellie called Hey Friend

I heat embossed the florals with white embossing powder.

I really love these pens they blend so well and they leave a lovely sparkle behind on your card.

I heat embossed my sentiment on to black card using the same white embossing powder.

Then attached the whole thing to a black card base.

Craft Stamper April Inspiration

Hello my friends!

Welcome to another inspiration post for the Craft Stamper Challenge.

I decided to decorate an old coffee jar for my project today.

It was quick and simple to make.

I gave my jar a couple of coats of chalk paint and let it air dry.

The once it was dry  I took my stamp from the De France Stamp Set.

Then stuck it down to my desk.

I stamped it with black archival ink and then rolled my jar across the stamp.

Then I just added some twine around the top of my jar.  Super easy right?

I love the finished look.

Now it's your turn to come and join in the fun.

Craft Stamper March Challenge

Hello my friends.
Welcome to another Craft Stamper Challenge.
Here is my project for today's inspiration post.

I used a stamp called Dream Girl from Unity Stamp Company. I have a ton of stamps that I have not got around to using. This one has been in my stash for over a year. I finally got around to using it for this card.  I love the sentiment that runs down the side of her face.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember you have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars, to change the world.
Harriet Tubman

I used my Zig water colour markers on the girl. Then for the background I used my butterfly stencil and distress oxides. I wanted to have this hazy background that represented dreams. You know that way when you are dreaming but you don't always remember them they can be a bit vague. I wanted to capture that on the card. I stencilled some butterflies with black distress oxide ink then took a water brush and wet them to make them a little  hazy but still keeping butterfly form.  I then added some seedless preserves oxide ink to add some colour into the background. I used a lot of water and let it air dry and it left lots of lovely water marks which added some more interest.  I love the way it turned out.

I hope you have time to come and join in challenge. We have this lovely prize up for grabs this month. A stunning  Tim Holtz stamp set.

Craft Stamper February Inspiration

Hello My Friends!

Welcome to another Craft Stamper Challenge reminder.

I hope you have had time to come and join us this month.

Here is my wee card I made for today's inspiration. I went with a lovely butterfly card.

I kept this card really simple and used just one stamp and a lovely butterfly die.
I used my watercolour paints and painted a sheet of paper then  just used the die to cut out the butterflies. Then arranged a flutter of cascading butterflies.

The stamp I used is from Prima Marketing Creating in Faith Phrases stamp set.
The die is from Michaels Butterfly Die

I love that quote it was one of the reasons I bought this stamp set. Life throws a lot of stuff at you sometimes. Fears can manifest themselves in so many different ways. They can sometimes paralyze us into not moving forward and keep us frozen in time. That is when we must have faith and believe things will work out for our good and take a step forward.  I am learning a lot to walk out my fears lately.  The butterflies also represent freedom so I thought they would go well with the quote.

I hope you make some time to come and play with us this month.
We a fab prize up for grabs this lovely die from Sizzix.
