Happy Valentine's Day - Craft Stamper Inspiration

Hello my friends happy Valentine's Day!

I made this stamped jar for my inspiration project for the Craft Stamper Challenge today.

This is my husband's old coffee jar that was heading to the recycling bin.

I always like to save them and make something with them.

I gave it a couple of coats of white chalk paint and let it air dry.

Next I stamped it with memento ink.

The stamp I used is from Unity called Smooches and Stuff by Phyllis Harris.

I just love all of her art work.

I let that completely dry then used my alcohol markers to colour it.

While I was at the craft store I found this nice heart kraft ribbon in the Valentine section.

I tied it around the top to finish.

I love the way it turned out.

Unity & Misti Blog Hop

Hello My lovelies :) Welcome to the Unity and Misti blog hop! I hope you are enjoying seeing all of the projects so far. I just had my first wee play with the Misti tool the other day. It is a very new to me tool and wow do I LOVE it!! It is awesome! Just for the simplest of things like positioning a stamp. One time is all you need with the Misti!! I am not one of those crafters that gets my stamped images crisp first time. I usually have wasted a card or two before I end up with a perfect image. This tool totally eliminates all of that. Tag Trio Day 5 GIU

Hello Friends Welcome to my final day as GIU girl. I must say that I have loved every minute of it and I have enjoyed putting all of my projects together for you to see. So I wanted to end my week with some distress tags. I love getting messy with my distress inks and using the embossing resist technique. I chose this lovely flower stamp set called Insightful Meadows . The sentiments are from another stamp set called The Simple Things . These were so easy to make I stamped all of the flowers and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I took 3 different colours for each tag and swiped them on to my craft sheet. I spritzed some water and let the tag pick up the inks. I dried them 3 or 4 times in between until I had built up the colours I wanted. Craft Stamper November Challenge

Hey Friends Welcome to a new Craft Stamper challenge for November. Can you believe we are almost at the end of the year already!! Where did time go?? It has been pretty cold and frosty up here in Scotland for the last few nights. But I am hanging on to Autumn as long as I can. I took a wee walk around the park and collected some lovely Autumn leaves. I wanted to incorporate them into my project today. I put the leaves in some paper and put them inside a heavy book overnight to press them down. I started off with a white card base and used this sentiment stamp from Unity and repeat stamped all down the side of my card using Potting Soil Archival Ink. Then I went around the edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink. Next I took my leaves and my paper punches and punched a heart shape out from the yellow leaf and then stuck it to my card with fabric glue. Then I punched som...
