Craft Stamper December Challenge

Hello my friends happy December!
It's time for a new Craft Stamper Challenge yay!
I had to make a Christmas card for my project today since it is December after all.
I used this lovely wee mouse stamp from lovely Tracy Easson.
How cute is he?? He is part of the Clan McTavish collection that I adore.
This one is called The Chieftain.
The sentiment and heart is from another one of her stamp sets
called Meet Me Under The Mistletoe

I used my watercolours to make him come alive.
Then of course since I am Scottish I just had give him some tartan troosers.
I paper pieced them on along with the wee tartan heart in the corner.
I just love him!
Tracy's designs are so unique and lovely to work with.

Now on to the lovely prize up for grabs this month.
These pretty Jane Davenport Watercolour Brights set.
I own these and they are a lovely set of paints.
So get your craft supplies out and make something and join in this months challenge.

You can make anything you wish as long as you have used stamps on your project.
Remember there are always two prizes.
The other one is you also have the chance to get published in the Craft Stamper magazine.
All of the details can be found on the Craft Stamper Blog.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.

Happy Christmas to you and yours when it comes around.

Unity & Misti Blog Hop

Hello My lovelies :) Welcome to the Unity and Misti blog hop! I  hope you are enjoying seeing all of the projects so far. I just had my first wee play with the Misti tool the other day. It is a very new to me tool and wow do I LOVE it!! It is awesome! Just for the simplest of things like positioning a stamp.  One time is all you need with the Misti!! I am not one of those crafters that gets my stamped images crisp first time. I usually have wasted a card or two before I end up with a perfect image. This tool totally eliminates all of that.  Here is my very first card that I made with the Misti tool and Unity stamps.  I used a stamp called  Scattered Pieces . I LOVE this stamp and the sentiments that come with it.  I positioned the feather and the sentiment at the same time on the Misti.  I totally love that you can do that too!  It lets you stamp several at once instead of just eye b...

Craft Stamper November Challenge

Hey Friends Welcome to a new  Craft Stamper  challenge for November. Can you believe we are almost at the end of the year already!!  Where did time go?? It has been pretty cold and frosty up here in Scotland for the last few nights.   But I am hanging on to Autumn as long as I can. I took a wee walk around the park and collected some lovely Autumn leaves.  I wanted to incorporate them into my project today.  I put the leaves in some paper and put them inside a heavy book overnight to press them down.  I started off with a white card base and used this sentiment stamp from Unity and repeat stamped all down the side of my card using Potting Soil Archival Ink. Then I went around the edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink.  Next I took my leaves and my paper punches and punched a heart shape out from the yellow leaf and then stuck it to my card with fabric glue.  Then I punched som...

Tag Trio Day 5 GIU

Hello Friends Welcome to my final day as GIU girl. I must say that I have loved every minute of it and I have enjoyed putting all of my projects together for you to see. So I wanted to end my week with some distress tags. I love getting messy with my distress inks and using the embossing resist technique. I chose this lovely flower stamp set called  Insightful Meadows . The sentiments are from another stamp set called  The Simple Things . These were so easy to make I stamped all of the flowers and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I took 3 different colours for each tag and swiped them on to my craft sheet. I spritzed some water and let the tag pick up the inks. I dried them 3 or 4 times in between until I had built up the colours I wanted.  I then stamped out the sentiments on to vellum and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I attached the vellum with glue and glued it at the back of ...
