Wind on My Face

Hello Friends

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!
I had a wee crafty play around on my desk yesterday just for fun and made this card!
I have a ton of stamps that I have not used yet and this is one of them.
If you know me you know how much I LOVE Phyllis Harris Stamps.
This is one of them it is called Life's an Adventure. How lovely is she??

I used my Derwent Inktense Watercolour Pencils to colour her.
I pulled some of the colours from the Unity photo inspiration challenge on facebook.
I wanted the swing as the focal point.
So I actually  fussy cut her out and replaced the stamp swing rope with real twine.
I did a very light watercolour wash as a background.
The sentiment I used is from another Phyllis Stamp set my favorite called Your Wings Exist

I love the way it turned out :)
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

Unity & Misti Blog Hop

Hello My lovelies :) Welcome to the Unity and Misti blog hop! I  hope you are enjoying seeing all of the projects so far. I just had my first wee play with the Misti tool the other day. It is a very new to me tool and wow do I LOVE it!! It is awesome! Just for the simplest of things like positioning a stamp.  One time is all you need with the Misti!! I am not one of those crafters that gets my stamped images crisp first time. I usually have wasted a card or two before I end up with a perfect image. I LOVE this stamp and the sentiments that come with it.  I positioned the feather and the sentiment at the same time on the Misti.  I totally love that you can do that too!  It lets you stamp several at once instead of just eye b...
