Hello Friends
Happy Monday :) It is so hot here in upstate NY. This Scottish girl still cannot get used to the hot and humid summers of America. I much prefer the cold to the heat. Yes I did just say that ha. So I spent today inside beside my air conditioner crafting. I made this card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge. The challenge is to use hearts in summery colours.
So I got out my Martha Stewart heart punch and punched lots of hearts in pink, green and purple glitter paper. I made a row of hearts and sprinkled some sequins and rhinestones in between them. I used a stamp from Unity Stamp Co called Fall Together. I stamped the sentiment just above my row of bling using VersaFine Onyx black Ink.
I hope you like my card, thanks so much for stopping by.

Sentimental Sundays
This is so beautiful. I love that sentiment that goes with those scattered hearts. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Mandi - the heat sucks the life out of me. But in the a/c (which we don't have) I'll bet you can still function. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. Saw it on FB after Lydia posted it, tracked it to SCS and then to here. It's perfect.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - I love the sentiment, and the simple hearts and sequins. Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing this with us at Sentimental Sundays x
ReplyDeleteLove that sentiment, and the line of hearts with the sequins looks great! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!
ReplyDeleteP.S. You are a girl after my own heart! I hate hot weather, I am happiest when it is cold and snowing. I live in Alaska and love our winters here(although you guys had more snow last year than I did, boo!).
Your card is adorable! I love how you created your line of hearts with sequins, rhinestones and punched hearts!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at The Friday Mashup!
