Perfect Posies

Hello Friends!

I hope you all had a great week :)  Here is my card I made for Friends with Flair this week. I inked up this stamp called Perfect Pair of Posies. I bought it months ago and have never used it. I was cleaning out my stamps and found this one tucked away at the bottom of the basket.

I created the background with the stamp and coloured the centre of the flowers with a tan marker. Next I mounted it to brown card, then a kraft card base. I added a brown strip of card near the bottom and trimmed it with ribbon. The Best Wishes sentiment is from the Heartfelt Sentiments kit. I fixed it on top of the card strip, along with 2 of the posies that were cut out and layered. I added some rhinestones to finish it off.

Thanks for visiting - Have a great weekend :)

  1. Beautiful card Mandi. Love the duplication of a single image over and over for the background and then one cut out and popped up for a focal point.

Unity & Misti Blog Hop

Hello My lovelies :) Welcome to the Unity and Misti blog hop! I  hope you are enjoying seeing all of the projects so far. I just had my first wee play with the Misti tool the other day. This tool totally eliminates all of that.  Here is my very first card that I made with the Misti tool and Unity stamps.  I used a stamp called  Scattered Pieces . I LOVE this stamp and the sentiments that come with it.  I positioned the feather and the sentiment at the same time on the Misti.  I totally love that you can do that too!  It lets you stamp several at once instead of just eye b...
