Happy Friday

Hello It has been a while since I last blogged. We have moved into a small apartment temporarily and have no crafting space aghhh :( So I'm taking over my kitchen counter it is now my new craft area until I can find a folding table :)

So I  just had to do another butterfly card :) Just because I love them. I did a similar card like this it was called dream big you can see it here. I used the same stamps only varied the layout and added colour :) I love turquoise it reminds me of the sea.  So here is my FWF Entry if you want to join go the Unity blogspot here

Happy Valentine's Day - Craft Stamper Inspiration

Hello my friends happy Valentine's Day!  I made this stamped jar for my inspiration project for the  Craft Stamper Challenge today.  This is my husband's old coffee jar that was heading to the recycling bin. I always like to save them and make something with them.  I gave it a couple of coats of white chalk paint and let it air dry. Next I stamped it with memento ink.  The stamp I used is from Unity called  Smooches and Stuff  by Phyllis Harris.  I just love all of her art work. I let that completely dry then used my alcohol markers to colour it.  While I was at the craft store I found this nice heart kraft ribbon in the Valentine section.  I tied it around the top to finish.  I love the way it turned out.
