Craft Stamper TIMI June ~ Take a Technique ~ Texture

Hello Friends

Welcome back to another Craft Stamper Challenge.  This month our theme is take a technique and that technique is texture. I started out with a Kraft tag and I used an Anna Griffin Elaborate Quatrefoil Embossing Folder on it. I then highlighted the embossing with Eggshell Paint and Gold Color Shine. Next I added some lace fabric to trim it out.  I used this lovely angel stamp from Unity called Maria Girl. I really was not sure about my colour scheme on this one so I kept it pretty monochromatic with the cream and kraft. I stamped the angel separately and fussy cut her out then painted her wings to give them some more texture. I then added some lace around her wings and a gold heart to her rosaries.

I hope you will join in with us this month and create a textured project. You can use lots of things to add texture like embossing folders, embossing paste, heat embossing, fabric, stitching these are just a few ideas for you. We have a fabulous prize up for grabs too this month. Our lovely sponsor is Rubber Dance Art Stamps and they are giving one lovely winner a £20 gift voucher. All of the details are on the Craft Stamper Blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you will come and join in the fun.

I am also linking my tag up with the lovely Unity Freinds With Flair :)

Friends with Flair @ Unity

Here is my Unity Friends with Flair entry.  I used my Feel the Joy stamp and used the generation stamping technique with memento ink. I then sponged the background in purple and deep pink pigment ink.  I mounted it on to white card and added the Happy Birthday sentiment at the bottom. It looked too plain so I added teeny weeny little butterflies from the butterfly punch from Martha Stewart.  P.S I ran out of daubers and all I could find was a magic eraser it did the trick as a makeshift sponge :)                                        If you want to take part hop along to Unity and enter  here I just had to make another card I just love this stamp I wish I had gotten it sooner it is so versatile. I think it may be my new favourite Unity Stamp :)                                                                           Thanks for visiting :)

Love You - Hot Pink

Happy Friday Friends :) I hope you all had a good week. Here is the card I made for this weeks friends with flair today.  I used two stamps on this card. The hearts are from the  You are my Main Squeeze stamp set. The sentiment is from the Strength & Dignity KOM 11/13 .  The vibrant pink colour is Picked Raspberry distress ink that I sponged all over the card. I embossed the hearts with white embossing powder. I really like he effect it created it looks almost like chalk.  Have a great weekend :)

Craft Stamper November Challenge

Hey Friends Welcome to a new  Craft Stamper  challenge for November. Can you believe we are almost at the end of the year already!!  Where did time go?? It has been pretty cold and frosty up here in Scotland for the last few nights.   But I am hanging on to Autumn as long as I can. I took a wee walk around the park and collected some lovely Autumn leaves.  I wanted to incorporate them into my project today.  I put the leaves in some paper and put them inside a heavy book overnight to press them down.  I started off with a white card base and used this sentiment stamp from Unity and repeat stamped all down the side of my card using Potting Soil Archival Ink. Then I went around the edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink.  Next I took my leaves and my paper punches and punched a heart shape out from the yellow leaf and then stuck it to my card with fabric glue.  Then I punched some hearts from the red leaves and put one inside t
