Hope Butterfly

Hello Friends

I wanted to make a card for this month's Unity Be Inspired Challenge. I had this idea in my head and my card, well lets just say it looks NOTHING like my idea ha. In fact this has to be one of those cards that I really don't like too much at all.  I was going to throw it away at one point but I pressed on and finished it. Do you ever get like that when you get frustrated that something is not coming out  the way you want it to? I am such a perfectionist and it drives me crazy aggh!

I heated embossed the butterfly background and sentiment with white embossing powder. Then used my distress inks to create the background. I then stamped the butterfly using two different distress inks and triple layered it to make it stand out. Finally I added lots of ribbon and bling and mounted it on to a white card base.

I hope you like my card it even if I don't ha :)

It is a very new to me tool and wow do I LOVE it!! It is awesome! Just for the simplest of things like positioning a stamp.  One time is all you need with the Misti!! I am not one of those crafters that gets my stamped images crisp first time. I usually have wasted a card or two before I end up with a perfect image. This tool totally eliminates all of that.  Here is my very first card that I made with the Misti tool and Unity stamps.  I used a stamp called  Scattered Pieces . I LOVE this stamp and the sentiments that come with it.  I positioned the feather and the sentiment at the same time on the Misti.  I totally love that you can do that too!  It lets you stamp several at once instead of just eye b...
