Roses & Lace

Happy Wednesday I am home today recovering from a wisdom tooth I had removed yesterday ouch! So I thought I get my mind off the pain and get creative. I have been wanting to take part in the Unity Be Inspired card challenge for a while so today is a good day to make my card nothing like last minute :) Today is the last day to enter if you want to take part hop on over to here :)

My card is loosely based on this design

                                                                         Supplies

Unity Stamp Co - Angie Girl : Dream With Your Heart
                                                           Memento Rich Cocoa Ink
Martha Stewart Hydrangea 3 in 1 Punch
Tim Holtz Distress Marker- Tattered Rose
Paper Studio Paper Stack - Kirby Teesdale
                                                                            Lace
                                                                        Kraft Card
                                                                          Ribbon
                                                                            Pearl

I stamped the girl onto kraft card with memento ink then cut her out. I adhered the lace to the card for her dress and a wee piece of ribbon as a belt. I then coloured the top with the distress marker. I punched some flowers and added a tiny pearl to finish it off. I stuck her onto a sheet of pretty paper from the Paper stack. I added the sentiment then mounted it on to a kraft card base.  How pretty is she?? :)

Thanks for visiting - Have a blessed day :)

Friends with Flair @ Unity

Here is my Unity Friends with Flair entry.  I used my Feel the Joy stamp and used the generation stamping technique with memento ink. I then sponged the background in purple and deep pink pigment ink.  I mounted it on to white card and added the Happy Birthday sentiment at the bottom. It looked too plain so I added teeny weeny little butterflies from the butterfly punch from Martha Stewart.  P.S I ran out of daubers and all I could find was a magic eraser it did the trick as a makeshift sponge :)                                        If you want to take part hop along to Unity and enter  here I just had to make another card I just love this stamp I wish I had gotten it sooner it is so versatile. I think it may be my new favourite Unity Stamp :)                                                                           Thanks for visiting :)

Love You - Hot Pink

Happy Friday Friends :) I hope you all had a good week. Here is the card I made for this weeks friends with flair today.  I used two stamps on this card. The hearts are from the  You are my Main Squeeze stamp set. The sentiment is from the Strength & Dignity KOM 11/13 .  The vibrant pink colour is Picked Raspberry distress ink that I sponged all over the card. I embossed the hearts with white embossing powder. I really like he effect it created it looks almost like chalk.  Have a great weekend :)

Craft Stamper May Challenge

Hello Friends! I hope everyone is doing ok during this crazy time.  I just wanted to remind you that we are still running the Craft Stamper Challenges.  The May challenge is well underway but you still have time to come and join in.  Here is my card I made for this month's project.  I made this clean and simple floral card with Unity stamps.  I used two different kits to create this card. The jar with the flowers is from the  Strength & Wisdom  stamp set and the sentiment is from the kit called  His Words .  I kept my card really clean and just used my watercolors to colour the flowers and jar then tied a little twine around it to finish it off. If you have the time come and play along with us this month.  You can use any stamps you wish on your project.  Here is the prize we have on offer this month this fab Eileen Hull die.  All of the details of the challenge can be found on the  Craft Stamper Blog . Hope to see your project
